The digital economy is showing high growth rates in various countries, especially in developing countries. However, information and understanding of its quantitative indicators remains limited and controversial. The purpose of writing this article is to review the available information to clarify the concept of "digital economy" in the innovative economy and assess its scope. Therefore, a three-step approach was used to analyze the topic. The foundation of the digital economy was provided by the "digital sector", i.e. enterprises in the field of information/information and communication technologies (ICT) producing basic digital products and services.

The innovative economy represents a dynamic and transformative phase of economic development, emphasizing the importance of creativity, knowledge, and technological advancement. Women play a critical role in driving innovation and economic growth. This study explores the main principles and directions of development in the innovative economy with a focus on the role of women. The research highlights the key aspects that facilitate women's participation in innovation, examines the challenges they face, and discusses policy recommendations to enhance their contribution to the innovative economy.

The digital economy is considered a modern stage of development, characterized by the priority of creative work and information benefits. Also, the digital economy is a unique concept, the object of its study is the information society. In the conditions of today's rapidly developing global economy, the digital economy is in the initial period of its development, and the transition to the digital information stage of our time is only a few decades.

Ushbu maqolada Yangi Oʻzbekiston sharoitida iqtisodiy tarmoqlar va sohalarni rivojlantirishda startap loyihalarning oʻrni va ahamiyati tahlil qilinadi. Istiqbolli yoʻnalishlar sifatida axborot texnologiyalari, qishloq xoʻjaligi, yashil iqtisodiyot, turizm, taʼlim va sogʻliqni saqlash kabi sohalar koʻrib chiqilgan. In the era of knowledge-based economies and rapid technological progress, countries are actively seeking effective financial instruments to support innovation. Venture capital has emerged as a vital tool for fostering high-growth, high-risk enterprises, particularly in developing nations where traditional financial systems often fall short in meeting the needs of startups. In this regard, Uzbekistan—an emerging economy in Central Asia—is gradually embracing the concept of venture financing to promote innovative projects and accelerate economic modernization.            The transformation of Uzbekistan’s economy over the last decade has included extensive reforms aimed at liberalization, digitization, and privatization. These reforms have created fertile ground for entrepreneurship, particularly among the youth. However, while entrepreneurial enthusiasm is high, access to funding remains limited. Commercial banks, the dominant players in the financial sector, generally prioritize low-risk lending, leaving startups underserved. This financing gap highlights the importance of alternative mechanisms like venture capital, which provide not only capital but also strategic support, mentorship, and market access.

The problem of comprehensive evaluation of the efficiency of capital investments (investments) has been in the constant focus of various levels of economists-scientists and practitioners-managers and has not lost its relevance even now. In the last decade, many scientific manuals devoted to this problem have been published, and various methodological instructions and guidelines have been developed in the field of economic justification of capital investments for investment objects intended for use at the national, sectoral and regional levels.

At the end of the work, proposals and recommendations were developed for the development of startup culture to increase youth employment. The thesis is written on the basis of scientific and theoretical approaches and practical examples, and is relevant in the framework of youth policy and economic reforms.
