Abstract:

This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of modern approaches to first language acquisition - Noam Chomsky’s generative grammar, Jean Piaget's cognitive development theory, and Lev Vygotsky's sociocultural approach. It examines the role of each theory in the language acquisition process, its specific methodological foundations, and educational significance. Additionally, research conducted based on these approaches is reviewed, and the commonalities and differences among them are identified.
