Abstract:

In Turkic dialects with such a rich cultural heritage as Karakalpak, expressions involving numbers are an indispensable part of the language. This article delves into the profound impact of numbers on language and culture, particularly in Karakalpak Turkish, and examines idioms related to numbers in the Karakalpak dialect. It emphasizes that idioms are significant elements that reflect a language's cultural and historical richness. Idioms are not merely combinations of words; they are also mirrors that reflect a society's collective memory, beliefs, and lifestyle. In this context, idioms related to numbers in Karakalpak Turkish are quite meaningful and rich. The article discusses topics such as the formation, characteristics, and usage of idioms related to numbers.
